Birthing My Own Idea 

The idea for Find Your Frolic was born near a sandy beach in Mexico in February 2013. I was on a spiritual retreat with a dear friend and new connections that felt like old friends. We were up laughing and telling stories late one evening and magically the phrase "Find Your Frolic" was spoken. That phrase made its way into my heart. A little seed had been planted.

Over the next decade, I toyed with the idea of what Find Your Frolic could actually become. I knew it was a way to be of service to others, but how? And when? I was busy making my way up the corporate ladder. I juggled side hustles and volunteered my time with nonprofit organizations. I wore busy as a badge of honor. Yet something was always missing. The more I added, the less connected I became. I was quickly on a path to burnout, yet I couldn’t see it. I kept striving for more. And yet, the idea of Find Your Frolic kept tap, tap, tapping on my shoulder. 

In the summer of 2022, I found myself on a trip to Scotland. As any decent Outlander fan would do, I went on a quest to find “the stones” the main character time traveled through. Our tour led us to Clava Cairns among other hot spots depicted in the television show. Once we arrived, I forgot about the show. The energy at this 4,000-year-old ceremonial burial ground was so spectacular and alluring I didn’t want to leave. I felt drawn in like a moth to a flame.

I experienced a level of happiness and belonging that was unexplainable. I was absolutely in awe as I wandered around and tried my very best to contain my strange reaction to this place. As I placed my hands on one very large stone that captivated my attention, a tingling sensation went up through my hands to my arms. I was speechless and a little freaked out. I quickly let go. For the next hour or so the tingling remained. The stones had a message for me. I needed to learn more about spirituality and its deep connection to nature.

With that encounter, something had shifted deep inside me. I opened myself up to the healing power of nature. I welcomed parts of myself back home I had exiled to fit in. I began to let go of old ways of being in the world that no longer mattered. I had a death to striving and rebirth to true belonging. I finally made room for the idea I had put in a box labeled "someday." Ultimately, I began to find my own frolic.

Six months later, I made the hard decision to leave my corporate career and birthed my own idea out into the world. I am now able to leverage my decades of experience launching products to market combined with my deep reverence for nature and open-hearted empathetic listening style to be of service to you at Find Your Frolic.

Most recently, I support start-ups and solopreneurs as they grow and scale their business. I have also served as a board member for a non-profit organization. 

𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: I have a latticed career path that has spanned from business process optimization in higher education to product management and product marketing. I have climbed the corporate ladder from an individual contributor to the vice president level in a mid-market company. I am now proud to own my own business that not only feels aligned to my soul's calling but also provides financial stability. 

𝐆𝐨-𝐭𝐨-𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲: I love sharing my knowledge of how to bring new products to market successfully. I enjoy mentoring employees in the product space as well as supporting emerging entrepreneurs and creatives who want to launch a new business, side gig or passion project. 

𝐄𝐜𝐨-𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Through my certification with the Center for Wild Spirituality, I am able to tap into the healing power of nature. My eco-spiritual practices inform not only what I do but also how I do it. It is a way of being that feels aligned to my calling.
